The ShigaPlexIM project Steering Committee (SC) is responsible for the scientific and technical coordination of the project and is the ultimate decision-making body of consortium. The SC is composed of the Coordinator (EVI), as well as of one representative of each partner.

The SC is responsible for:

• Monitoring the progress of the overall strategic objectives of the consortium

• Ensuring the effective implementation of the work programme to achieve the deliverables and milestones

• The financial allocation and distribution of the project resources

• Decision about publications, dissemination, ethical issues, data protection and Intellectual Property rights

• Acceptance of new partners in the consortium

• The appointment of the scientific ethics advisory committee and other committees
