Michelo Simuyandi is a molecular and cell biologist with a wide research experience which spans (i) vaccine research and evaluation, (ii) clinical trials, (iii) community interventional trials and (iv) basic science for about 15 years. He is currently the Director of the Enteric Disease and Vaccine Research unit at the Centre for Infectious Disease Research in Zambia and serves as a Visiting Researcher at the Tropical Disease Research Centre (TDRC) in Zambia. His research interests include (i) vaccine research (development and evaluation), (ii) diagnostics and (iii) epidemiology and immunity of enteric pathogens.
